Greetings brothers and sisters. We have just returned from the Sequim Crusade, which turned out to be a revival. Lots have happened here on the home front in the last 4 days. We, Reno and I got back to Spangle late Tuesday night the 1st. I took Linda K to the hospital for her scheduled surgery for a pacemaker to be implanted in her chest, on Wednesday morning. All went well at the hospital, Linda had to spend the night and I picked her up on Thurday morning and we came home. Friday I crashed, I was wiped out. Getting rested for this next three weeks of mc runs and outreach meetings.
Now the Sequim report. I must start this back at the first of May. I went to the NCOM National Convention the first week end of May. I went alone and that is unusual only because we don't normally travel like that, you know two by two. Anyway I got to spend my down time in prayer and I have been after God for a change in my life. A return to my first love. I really wanted and needed a breaking and a filling of the Spirit again. Well, at the Midnight Cry outreach the Lord answered my prayer. On Friday night May 14 as we played the last worship song the Spirit of God came upon me and I broke. All I could do was weep. As I wept I poured out my heart to the Lord and something fundimental has changed in my life. God moved in a powerful way. He covered those three night in Snohomish with His love and we were blessed. This was the best outreach we have done there in the last 15 years. Now on to Sequim.
As we prepared to leave the home base for Sequim you must now how it goes as it was a battle just getting out of town. We had a late start. That ment a late arrival so we stopped at Uncle Mikes and Karins house in Snohomish before heading across the water to Sequim. Got there on Wednesday the 19th and started setting up the camp when the people started arriving. Friendly faces from 10 years ago from our last vist to the area. New faces, new frienships, a new and fresh annointing of the spirit of God. From the first night to the last God was faithful to visit us in the tent. We had healings and deliverences, and yes salvations. I had thought that this time here would be a Crusade for new souls and God was faithful in that but what truly broke out was revival. Holy Ghost led and fed revival. God just poured out His love on us each night from beginning to end. The bible says this in Mark 16:17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe;..........."
Yes brothers and sisters the word and work of God is true and it is for whosoever, them that, anyone who will believe that God's word to us is true.
I stand here before you to testifiy of the good news that God loves you. And because he loves us he gives us, those who belive, and if you believe you will be born of the spirit, that is born again and God says that these signs shall follow you. We shall cast out devils in the name of Jesus Christ. We shall speak with a new mouth and tongue, the words of God a new language. With a mouth and tongue that will glorify the Father through the knowledge of the Son, Jesus Christ, in Jesus name. We shall take up serpents and cast them aside, spritual snakes and scorpions that bring death to the body shall not hurt us in Jesus name. We shall if we drink any deadly thing, not on purpose, but drink, it shall not hurt us, in Jesus name and we Shall lay hand upon the sick and they Shall be healed, they shall recover in Jesus name. I could fill many pages of the things that God has done in Sequim and up and down US101 over the years. Port Townsen, Pt Angeles, Joyce, many other places on the peninsula. This is what happen this year in Sequim.
We did those things, we did cast out devils in the name of Jesus, we did speak with words that came from God, with a new mouth and tongue, we did trample on snakes and scorpions and cast them away, we did lay hands on the sick and they did recover and heal. To follow after can mean after you leave and I know that the testimony will live and will grow as the power of God works in the lives of those who came. I believe, I believe, and because I believe I am confident that these sighs follow us. Because they are!! Now this only God's faithfulness and His love. He loves us chruch and all He asks is that we believe and if we believe we will obey His commandments and He will do what He says He will do. Could you imagine what we could do if this Truth was really understood, that God loves us, what wonderous things God would do through us. I believe because God has proved to us that His word is True.
12 days and nights in Sequim and the fire is still burning in the hearts of those that came. The attendance was good and blessed. All I can now say is that its, on. The time is right now and we, brothers and sisters you and me, where born for a time such as this. We were born for right now. Now is the time, Now is the day, Now. Let us live in the love and truth of God, Jesus Christ. Jesus said that "anything you ask me in my name I will do it". Jesus, my Lord and my God, will do it if we believe..
I do not pretend to know everything nor have I got it all figured out, all I know is that for 31 years in this ministry, 21 lived personally by me here, God has walked with us as we have walked with Him. He is the faithfull one, The Way and the Truth and the Live, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are blessed and excited for this year with the tent. God is bringing together a new tent team and a new trail for us to work. It is his ministry that we serve in and we are being blessed by the Love of God. It is my prayer for you and yours is that you will know that God loves you. That you will grow and prosper in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and that his Spirit will fill you with power and the fruit of that filling will manifest itself in you life so that you will know that God Loves YOU!!
